Jeanne Noonan joined the firm in 2016 after having worked as an Attorney Adviser to the United States Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges. Jeanne will focus her practice on the representation of employer interests under the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act, as well as admiralty and maritime litigation and general civil litigation. Jeanne earned her J.D. from William & Mary Law School, where she served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Team. She was a member of the winning team of the 2014 Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition, and won Best Petitioner’s Brief.
Jeanne’s passion lies with all things maritime, and she is active in various maritime organizations. She is Vice Chair for the ABA’s TIPS Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee, serves on the Board of Governors of the Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk, is active with the Virginia Maritime Association’s Future Leaders Committee, and is a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States. Jeanne was honored with selection to the 2018 Rising Star list by Super Lawyers for the Transportation/Maritime practice area.
