
About Erin
Erin M. Yates joined the firm in July 2021. After several years practicing in the state of New York, she relocated to Virginia and played a critical role in managing more than 1,400 cases related to FCA causes of action in the Eastern District of Virginia. She has experience in commercial litigation, matrimonial law, zoning matters, trusts and estates, and criminal defense, as well as all manners of bankruptcy related litigation. Erin has served as a volunteer attorney on pro bono matters involving family law and custody disputes.
She received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Her practice area focuses on commercial litigation, maritime law, creditors’ rights, and business restructuring.
