Ventker & Warman, PLLC is what is commonly described in the legal business as a boutique law firm.  As the practice of law has become increasingly specialized, it has become more and more apparent that there is no such thing as a full service law firm.

The days of the general practitioner who could competently handle any issue have long since passed.  At Ventker & Warman, we concentrate on what we know, and in so doing we provide a level of skill and expertise in limited areas of the law which is not routinely available elsewhere.  We represent clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region, but spend most of our time handling matters in Virginia and North Carolina.  The firm concentrates its effort in a limited number of areas: admiralty and maritime law, railroad and transportation law, representation of small businesses, corporations, non-profit organizations, and general commercial litigation.
