Marissa Henderson is a partner in the firm. Her practice focuses on a variety of maritime related matters, including vessel collisions, regulatory compliance, maritime contract claims, marine cargo claims, maritime personal injury and wrongful death defense (Jones Act), merchant marine licensing, marine insurance defense, and other civil litigation matters. Marissa currently focuses on litigation in Federal courts. She has experience working in the Federal court system both at the appellate and trial court level. In the court system, she worked in a broad array of legal areas, including labor and employment law, civil rights law, municipality law, and complex commercial disputes. Marissa is a "double-hoo: " a 1999 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and 1996 graduate of the University of Virginia.
